Liquid Button

The base canvas for Liquid Functionalism. Two familiar controls share a CSS gooey silhouette layer: drag them together and the bridge reflows while labels and icons stay crisp above the filter. The reactive edge is traced from that merged silhouette, so fused controls share a single unbroken border with two opposing highlights whose axis tracks the cursor. Each control reads the surface beneath it: over a dark backdrop it fills with that dark color, turns its label white, and dims the edge. The layout is locked until you open the padlock, which turns the container into a canvas with an 8 px magnetic grid. Drag a control, or move its focused button with the arrow keys.
